St. George’s Arts & Science College Library started functioning from the beginning of the college with 320 books and it is in the process of building sound collection to fulfill the information needs of the students and faculty for their curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
All the library books are classified using Dewey Decimal Classification Scheme. Books are shelved according to call number under specific Subject Heading. Students and Faculty are making use of Circulation Service and Reference Service. Information literacy programmes has been arranged to different user community.
