St. George's Arts and Science College conducted its Investiture Ceremony for the Academic Year 2026–2027 on 30 July 2026 in the Central Hall, formally installing the Student Council, Class Representatives, Sports Secretary, and House Captains. The programme commenced with an opening prayer by Dr. D. S. Chandra Priyadharshini, followed by the opening hymn, Praise, My Soul, the King of Heaven, rendered by the College Choir. The Principal, Dr. V. Victor Solomon, welcomed the gathering, after which the Founder and Secretary, Dr. Geoffery K. Francis, introduced and felicitated the Chief Guest, Dr. Z. Annie Vijaya, IPS Officer. In her inspiring address, Dr. Annie Vijaya encouraged students to use social media responsibly, make the most of the wealth of information available to them, and develop into responsible leaders committed to public service and positive social change. She then installed the President and Secretary, while the Class Representatives were installed by their respective faculty members. The Sports Secretary and House Captains were invested by the Chief Guest and the Physical Director. The newly elected leaders took the pledge administered by the Principal, followed by addresses from the Boy and Girl Presidents, who pledged to serve as responsible representatives and a bridge between the students and faculty. The programme concluded with the closing hymn, How Great Thou Art, the vote of thanks by Dr. V. Victor Vinoth, the benediction by Dr. Geoffery K. Francis, and the National Anthem. The ceremony concluded on an inspiring note, with the newly installed leaders ready to serve the college community with dedication, integrity, and a spirit of leadership.
