St. George's Arts & Science College organised Emergence – Where the Star Finds Its Stage, a vibrant talent showcase for first-year students, on 24 July 2026 at 9:30 a.m. in the Central Hall. The programme commenced with an opening prayer, followed by the inaugural address by the Principal, who welcomed the students and officially inaugurated the event. Designed to provide a platform for freshers to discover and showcase their talents, Emergence featured a variety of on-stage and off-stage competitions. The off-stage events included Craft Revival (Best Out of Waste), Terra Cotta Tales (Pot Decoration), Art Alive (Face Painting), and Reel Masters (Reel Making). The on-stage competitions comprised The Final Word (Debate), Desi Vogue (Ethnic Wear Parade), Pitch Perfect (Group Singing), and Groove On (Group Dance). Students participated enthusiastically, displaying exceptional creativity, confidence, teamwork, and artistic flair. The programme concluded with a valedictory function, during which the winners were honoured with prizes by the Founder and Secretary. The event ended on a joyous note, leaving the students encouraged and inspired to continue exploring and developing their talents throughout their college journey.
