St. George’s Arts and Science College, in partnership with AISECT India, conducted an awareness session on “Digital Productivity in AI and Cybersecurity” on 18 August 2026 at 12:00 p.m. in the Central Hall. The session provided students with an engaging introduction to Artificial Intelligence, its applications, benefits and limitations. The resource person explained how AI is transforming various fields, enhancing productivity and influencing everyday life. Students were also introduced to the growing role of robots and AI-powered technologies and encouraged to use AI tools responsibly and critically. A key focus of the programme was cybersecurity awareness. Students were sensitised to the importance of protecting personal information, digital accounts and online activities. The session emphasised responsible digital behaviour and the need to remain alert to cybersecurity risks while using modern technologies. An interactive question-and-answer session provided students with an opportunity to clarify their doubts and explore topics related to AI, robotics, its future applications and cybersecurity. The programme was well received by the students, who appreciated the opportunity to learn about AI and its relevance in today’s rapidly evolving digital world. The session successfully created awareness about the opportunities and challenges associated with AI while encouraging students to become informed, responsible and secure digital users.
