The Rotaract Club of St. George’s Arts and Science College, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Chennai Medical Fraternity, Rotary International District 3233, Group 7, was inaugurated for the Rotaract Year 2026–2027 with great enthusiasm on the 19th of August 2026 at 12:00 pm in the Central Hall. The programme commenced with Tamil Thai Vaazhthu, followed by the Welcome Address by the Principal, Dr. Victor Solomon. The event was graced by Rtn. Dr. Saritha D., President 2026–27, Rotary Club of Chennai Medical Fraternity, as the Chief Guest. The highlight of the programme was the Badging Ceremony of the newly appointed office bearers, marking the beginning of their leadership journey. Rtn. Dr. Mahima Seetaram, Youth Service Director, guided the office bearers on their roles and responsibilities, while Rtr. PP. Vijay Ram Manikandan, DRR – Special Representative, shared valuable insights into the organizational structure of Rotaract. The Charter Form was presented by Ms. Aletha Francis, College Programme Officer, and Dr. P. D. Gladstan, Coordinator – Rotaract Club, conducted the induction and badging of the new members. The ceremony concluded with the felicitation of dignitaries, group photograph and National Anthem, marking an inspiring new beginning for the Rotaract Club and its commitment to Leadership, Fellowship and Community Service
